Established in 1843, SMCC is a not-for-profit United Way Agency dedicated to providing St. Louis families with quality, education programs and affordable year-round childcare.

We strive to be a development center, not just a day care. Our focus is on helping children develop intellectual skills and maximizing their potential, within a safe, nurturing environment.

The Center, located in the Academy-Sherman Park neighborhood, provides children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old with quality opportunities to enhance their physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.
